                               HOW TO ORDER

       To order our items is very easy:

ON-LINE ORDER

1)    If you are not registered yet, the first step you have to do is to register yourself.

    You can do it clicking the link “REGISTRATION” on the home page, you  

    must insert your information and confirm the registration.

2)    Now you can go on with your order.

    Once you do the searching for the models you are interested in, you can     

   order them, clicking on the shopping cart icon; the space reserved to your   

    order will be recognizable for the light green background.

3)    An order can be of one or more items; once you have inserted some items on your shopping cart, you can go on with your shopping, doing further searching, while your order will remain foreground, so as you will be able to add or remove items easily.

    At the end of the order, total price is always shown to check it.

4)    When you are ready with your purchase, you must confirm it,  inserting the email and the password you previously entered the registration and click on : “continue”.

5)    Secondary, you have to specify how would you like to do your payment and confirm or change shipping address, it is VERY IMPORTANT that at the specified address there is always someone to pick up the parcel, then, click on “send order” to confirm everything.

6)    Within  1 or 2 business days you will receive a copy of your order by e-mail through which we will inform you about the effective availability of the items or eventual unavailability of  any required models.

        In the same e-mail you will find payment instructions or the link to pay         

        by credit card.

PRICES AND PAYMENT METHODS

All prices on our website are vat included.

After our confirmation of model’s availability, you can make your payment in one of the following methods:

1. Credit Card (VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Diner’s,CARTASI)
2. Bank wire
3. International check or Eurocheque
4. International Money Order
5. Postal Money Order (Not for USA)

You will get all instructions to do your payment by our e-mail of confirmation.

   SHIPPING PRICES FOR EUROPE – OUTSIDE EUROPE

Shipping price is of euro 12.50 for small and light parcels, which are 95% of all shipments.

For parcels out of this category, you will be informed about shipping price by e-mail.

SPECIAL PACKAGING

Our packaging is very fine and realized with the best materials actually in stock.

In particular we use very strong  parcels, double walled,  made on the purpose.

Special care film and foam bubbles, tissue papers, unluckily very expensive.

All this weights on shipping costs for Euro 2.00. Below we show you pictures to give an idea about the way we make packaging :

DELIVERY TIME

Once we get your payment we ship your order within 2 or 3 business days.

Of course these 2 or 3 days are considered in the case of complete order.

On the other hand if some of the ordered models are not in our store, but we have required them for you from the producer, it is possible we’ll take a bit more than 2 or 3 days to ship them, because we have to wait for their arrival.

CARMODEL sells models of old and new production.

We have got a large availability enclosing various brands, all easily visible directly from the home page; you have only to click the brand you like in the main categories.

We have also a large availability of reproboxes of 60s, 70s of the most important trademarks such us: Corgi, Dinky, Politoys, Mebetoys , Mercury, Solido, etc.

BUYING COLLECTIONS

We are interested in buying important whole collections, mainly of  old production models such as Dinky, Corgi, Politoys, Mebetoys, Mercury, Spot-on, Edil Toys, Tekno and other trademarks.

We also look for out of  production Ferrari F1 Collections and obsolete models in scale 1/24.

If you are interested to sell your collection, you may send a detailed list of your models, specifying the price, a telephone or fax number and email address and if possible also some digital pictures sent by e-mail.

If we are interested we will call or write you soon to close the deal.

In case of large collection of difficult listing please, call or write us to give a general idea sending some pictures by e-mail and an average price for each item. If we are interested we will come to pick it personally.

In case of small collections, please, contact us and if interested, you will be able to ship us your models and as here, we will value them and do you an offer. If you accept our offer, we will send you soon our payment, if not, we will ship your models back with our usual professional packaging. You may send your listings to:

If you select “ search in encyclopaedia “ in the space reserved to searching , you will be able to see a large inventory of model cars with related quotations and descriptions.

Over 30.000 pictures at February 2004 with a steady increasing of about 500 new pictures a mouth.

A valid mean, at your service to consult and know better the fantastic world of scale models.

All rights on Carmodel  pictures are reserved.

It is absolutely forbidden to get possession of them without our written authorization.

OUR LOCATION

Carmodel is a firm of on-line sale. Exactly we are in Pineto, a small town situated at about 20 Km from Pescara and 40 Km from Teramo.

To reach us is easy, because our location is near the state road n. 16 along the Adriatic coast. The motorway exit "Atri-Pineto" on the A14 is only 2 Km far from our location, allowing you to be here in 5 minutes. If you prefer to come here by flight, Ancona airport is at about 120 km far from us, while Pescara's is at about 25 Km. As you arrive in Pineto, Via D'annunzio is the main road which goes through all the village.

RETURNS POLICY

If the items and their original boxes are in the same conditions as shipped to the customer, the customer has the right to withdraw the purchase within 10 days from the receipt of the parcel.

Return shipping price is at the customer’s charge. Once we get the parcel and verified the state of models, Carmodel engages itself to refund the value of items or to replace them (transaction or shipping price not included).

We don’t accept returns cash on delivery.

PRIVACY POLICY

Carmodel guarantees absolute respect of privacy about personal customers information in the full respect of the law n. 675/96 and by D.Lgs. n. 171/98.

Carmodel guarantees that your personal information treated with web system will be used exclusively for the management of orders, information about products, payment and shipment information. Customers may exercise the rights of the article  13 L. 675/96 to require cancellation or change their own information,  etc.

Filling the order form, the customer declares to have taken vision of the actual informative explanation and express his/her consent to the communication and treatment of his/her personal information.
